I was searching for a car rental on Kona for July 15 – 19th , for approximately 2 weeks and the best rate I could find on my own surfing the net (using Expedia, Hotwire, Price line, etc ) was $68.00/day for a compact. I clicked on your website thinking what could I lose and see what rates are offered. I could not believe how easy and quickly I received my confirmation. Your discounted rate confirmed for me through Alamo which was $30.00 a day cheaper than the lowest quotes I received from Expedia, Hotwire, Price line, Cheapcars.com and going directly to their websites. I received the confirmation within 2 hours after placing my request. You made my vacation sweeter and can now afford to eat out instead of cooking in the condo. This morning I had to make an unexpected change to my Thrifty Car Rental reservation that was made through Alaska Airline's partner WWTE over a month ago. This was due to our flight departing one day later so I called them to change my pick up time for the car by one day also. However, I was told by WWTE the rate would increase from $165 per week to $550 per week and even after making calls to Thrifty, there was no negotiation over this new rate. I was forced to cancel my reservation and look elsewhere. With less than two weeks to go until our family vacation in Kona, I was concerned about finding another reservation that would meet our family vacation requirements. I discovered your website and decided to try it. Am I ever glad I did as the rates shown are very competitive and the reservation process was quick and easy. Confirmation arrived sooner than expected (within an hour) and at a far more reasonable rate than what I was presented with earlier in the day through WWTE. A great big thank you to agent Emile for finding us the right car and rental company (Enterprise). You have lowered my stress level for the rest of the day!! We had made our travel plans in February, arranging to meet our daughter and son-in-law and our little granddaughter for Christmas. We booked a townhouse in Ko Olina that came with a van. Well, today I got word that the van would not be available for us, and after a frantic search of the websites for the major rental companies, it appeared that there weren't any mini vans available on the island. I have already contacted Budget in Kona and they assured me that their rental office will stay open until the last scheduled renter comes. Our flight with Hawaii (#368) land at 10:23am.
